Well, another Earth-shattering, mind numbing speech by our politician-in-chief was on prime time last night. Net result:NOTHING. The President did nothing but try to promote his political agenda on the backs of the folks on the gulf coast.
And then he follows up today with a VERY important meeting with BP execs. How important, you ask? The President was in the meeting for 20 MINUTES, during which time he left the room at least twice. It sounds like the Executive Branch is all over this gulf oil spill thing!
Meanwhile, the gulf states are beginning to go rogue and act on their own, in defiance of the do nothing that is the federal response. The Obama Plan to clean up the gulf: raise taxes. That is a surprise to exactly zero people. That's the way I see it. What do you think?
